Hair Replacement

Micrograft hair transplantation using the follicular dissection technique alows the surgeon to perserve the maximum number of hair follicles for transplantation. This procedure employs the use of the operating microscope and a soft,cold light platform for minimal heat production. This patient underwent two procedures using micrografts to feather in the frontal hairline yielding an near undetectable transplant. These two sessions are spaced approximately 6 months apart and involve over 400 grafts per session. The cost per graft for this standard procedure has remained eight dollars per graft.
