An endoscopic browlift is a surgical way of lifting the eyebrows by creating five or six smaller incisions placed in or near the hair-bearing scalp by utilizing special instruments. The brow is freed from the underlying attachments, allowing it to be moved into a more suitable position. By utilizing the endoscopic technique, there is less swelling, less bruising and usually a quicker recovery and return to daily activities. The coronal browlift is primarily done for drooping of the outer 1/3 of the brow, which often causes the patient to look sad or unhappy. It is often done for frown lines that cause an angry or scowling look. A coronal lift is a surgical procedure performed in the hair-line above the forehead, elevating the upper 1/3 of the face which consists of the eyebrows and forehead. The browlift is a procedure that can be done alone or in conjunction with a facelift or other surgical procedures. Primary indications are the drooping of the eyebrows, forehead wrinkles and furrows between the brows at the bridge of the nose. Q&A What is the difference between an endoscopic browlift
